They say it is never to late to start to exercise.
I am not sure who “they” are but they may be wrong.
In fact if you want to be spry and energetic in your 70’s, 80’s and beyond you need to start in your 50’s and 60’s.
According to an article in The StarPhoenix –
So if you want to be sprightly in your 70s, you need to be working out in your 40s, 50s and 60s, experts say.
Put another way: If you don’t pay into your fitness bank in middle age, you won’t have much to draw on later. And while you may not mind being too out of shape to go for a run when you are 55, you probably will care if you can’t pull yourself out of a bathtub at 75.
And let me add in that not only do you need to start exercising no later then your 50’s you definitely also need to take a close look at your diet.
