Arthritis poses two distinct problems.
The first problem is the disease itself and the second problem is the side effects of the medication to control the pain.
Depending on the severity of the condition, the usual approach to arthritis commonly involves over-the-counter and prescription medications. They can have side effects that can range from a nuisance to serious.
Will alternative and complimentary medicine reverse joint destruction? Probably not.
But what it will do is dramatically lessen the pain and stiffness of rheumatoid arthritis.
The reason we call these treatments “complimentary” is that they you can use them with your present treatment.
Of course you may find that some of the herbs that are available for inflammation and pain relief may work as well or better then some prescriptions.
